Lacrosse programs to host "One Love" games this Saturday

North Adams, MA-- This Saturday, April 9th, both MCLA Lacrosse programs will participate in "One Love" contests.  The women will host Framingham State in a MASCAC tilt at Noon while the men challenge SUNY Canton in a NAC contest at 3:30pm.

The MCLA lacrosse programs have teamed up with the One Love Foundation, a national non-profit organization with the goal to end relationship abuse. The One Love Foundation aims to empower young people with the tools and resources they need to see the signs of healthy and unhealthy relationships and bring life-saving prevention education to their communities.

In between the matchups, we ask you to please join both the Men's and Women's Lacrosse teams in four laps around Shewcraft field in their goal of reaching 100,000 Yards for Yeardley. This Yards for Yeardley campaign is to remember Yeardley Love, a University of Virginia Lacrosse player whose boyfriend murdered her just three weeks before her college graduation. The MCLA Men and Women's lacrosse programs thank you for your participation in this campaign.  Our goal is to have our community move over 100,000 yards by the end of April.
