MCLA Women picked sixth in MASCAC Poll
The MCLA Women's Soccer team was chosen to finish sixth in the MASCAC in the preseason poll conducted by the league's coaches. MCLA finished the 2008 season with a 12-6 record.
The MCLA Women's Soccer team was chosen to finish sixth in the MASCAC in the preseason poll conducted by the league's coaches. MCLA finished the 2008 season with a 12-6 record. Westfield State was selected as the preseason favorite to win the league.
Led by Head Coach Deb Raber, the Trailblazers will look to build upon a strong 2008 campaign. The twelve wins were the most in a single season since 1994. In 2009, they return the single season scoring leader in Junior Jess Tietgens as well as a host of other starters.
The Trailblazers will open the 2009 season on Saturday September 5th at Hamilton. They open MASCAC play at home against Bridgewater State College on the 19th.
