Tietgens awarded MASCAC Player of the Week

MCLA junior Jess Tietgens has been named the MASCAC Player of the Week. Tietgens scored three goals and added an assist for a seven point week as the Trailblazers went 2-0.

MCLA junior Jess Tietgens (Stamford, VT) has been named the MASCAC Player of the Week.  Tietgens scored three goals and added an assist for a seven point week as the Trailblazers went 2-0.

Tietgens began the week tallying a goal and an assist in MCLA's win over Castleton.  Her best performance though, came in this weekends conference game against Bridgewater State.  Tietgens added to her record setting totals by notching a pair of goals, bringing her season total to five.  She is the all time record holder for career goals at MCLA.

Tietgens will look to continue her scoring ways when the Trailblazers host Green Mountain on Wednesday, before heading to Worcester State for a key MASCAC game.
