Caney named MASCAC Rookie of the Week in Women's Soccer

North Adams, MA- MCLA freshman forward Natalie Caney has been tabbed as the MASCAC rookie of the week following her impressive debut in a Trailblazer uniform. Marisa Parent of Framingham and Sarah Sypek of Westfield shared player of the week honors.
Caney, a first year player from Belchertown, MA, burst onto the Trailblazer scene with an impressive debut. She netted a hat trick against Minnesota Morris in leading MCLA to victory. With her strong start, she will be a defensive target for opponents all season long.
MCLA is back in action on Wednesday when they host Castleton State at 4pm at Shewcraft Field.
