DeMaio Named MASCAC Women’s Soccer Offensive Player of the Week
MCLA’s Kylie DeMaio has been selected as the MASCAC offensive player of the Week.
NORTH ADAMS, Mass. — MCLA's Kylie DeMaio (Roxbury, NY) has been selected as the MASCAC Women's Soccer Offensive Player of the Week, as announced by the league earlier today. DeMaio is joined by Salem State's Ava Guyer, who was named Defensive Player of the Week, and fellow Viking Samantha Agno, who took home Rookie of the Week honors.
The junior forward scored twice, including the game-winner, and assisted on another, helping the Trailblazers to their first win of the season, 4-1 over Framingham State. DeMaio's first goal of the season in the 25th minute proved to be the game-winning tally and propelled the Trailblazers to the conference win.
DeMaio and MCLA are back in action this Tuesday when they travel to Elms College and Leary Field for a non-conference matchup with the Blazers. The teams will take to the pitch at 6 p.m.
