Women’s Soccer Falls to Elms 4-0 In Nonconference Action
MCLA dropped a 4-0 nonconference decision to Elms this evening.
CHICOPEE, Mass. — The Women's Soccer team took to the road this evening for a non-conference meeting with the Elms College at Leary Field in Chicopee. The Blazers kept the Trailblazers keepers busy, outshooting MCLA 25 to 12 to secure a 4-0 final score.

- Elms tallied three first half goals by Jamie McDonough (20th minute, assisted by Caitlin Willard), Maddie Saunders (35th minute, unassisted), and Isabel Baidy (36th minute, Jenna McGuire). The Blazers also added a single goal in the second half with McDonough (55th minute, Emily Basua) picking up her second of the night.
- The hosts outshot the Trailblazers 25-12, including an 18-3 edge in the first half.
- The Blazers keeper Breanna White maintained a clean sheet, stopping all five shots on goal that she faced, advancing her season record to 2-0-0.
- The Trailblazers' keepers Destiny Alexandra Rivas (Leicester, MA) and Mallory Amirian (Haverhill, MA) combined for nine saves with Rivas taking the loss to fall to 1-2-0 on the year.
