Women’s Soccer Falls to Westfield State in Regular Season Finale
MCLA dropped a 4-0 MASCAC road match to Westfield State.
WESTFIELD, Mass. — The MCLA Women's Soccer team took to the road this evening for a MASCAC battle with the Westfield State Owls. The Trailblazers entered play in possession of the sixth and final MASCAC playoff spot but needed a win to secure their place in the field. Four goals for the Owls means MCLA will need to await the outcome of the rest of the MASCAC slate on Saturday.

HOW IT HAPPENED
- Westfield State scored a pair of goals in the first half. The first goal was an own goal (25', unassisted) off an MCLA player and the second was credited to Morgan Berthiaume (43', unassisted).
- The Owls added two more goals in the second half with the tallies going to Tori Dodge (54', assisted by Kylie Tomasetti & Liv DeMember) and Kiana Muratsuka (60', unassisted)
- The tandem of Julia Robak and Mady Harmon recorded a clean sheet for Westfield State and Robak's record improved to 7-3-4. MCLA's Destiny Alexandra Rivas (Leicester, MA) took the loss to fall to 3-6-3.
