MCLA Falls to WNEC

NORTH ADAMS, Mass. - The Western New England College women's tennis team defeated Massachusetts College of Liberal Arts 9-0 Thursday afternoon. MCLA was coming off a 7-2 victory over St. Joseph, but the Bears (10-3) proved to be just too tough. Kristin Banks (Norton, MA) and Carrie Richards (Ludlow, MA) put up the best match of the day in #1 doubles, but fell 8-4.  The Trailblazers will return to the courts Saturday afternoon at 1:00 when they host Sage College.
