Tennis announces 2017 schedule, opens play on September 7th against Worcester State
The MCLA Tennis program has announced their 2017 schedule this morning. The Trailblazers will open their season on September 7th against Worcester State
North Adams, MA- The MCLA Women's Tennis program has announced their 2017 schedule. The Trailblazers will play 11 matches in 2017 and kickoff the season with a September 7th tilt at Worcester State.
The Trailblazers will face defending NAC champion Colby Sawyer in the home opener on 9/9 prior to continuing conference play at Lyndon State on the 13th. A home match with Green Mountain looms on 9/16 before MCLA will play back to back road matches against Castleton (9/19) and Sage (9/21).
MCLA will host Johnson State on 9/23 as part of reunion weekend and just three days later will host Becker. The Trailblazers then head to Maine for the NAC regular season finales as they challenge Husson (9/30) and Thomas (10/1) on back to back days. The next weekend is the NAC championships which takes the top four finishers in the conference.
MCLA will have their final home match after the championships when they host St. Joseph (CT) on October 14th. The Trailblazers finished 2016 at 6-5 overall and were 4-3 in the NAC.
