The MCLA women's volleyball team and head coach Amanda Beckwith announced its 2022 schedule which kicks off on the road against SUNY Delhi on Thursday, September 1.
The Trailblazers are looking to build off last season's success, advancing to the MASCAC Semi-Final match, as Coach Beckwith enters her 16th year leading the program. Returner Chloie Garber was named MASCAC Second Team and Rookie of the Year last season and looks to headline the Trailblazers' offense.
Following their season opener against SUNY Delhi, the Trailblazers will host Mt. Holyoke (Sept. 7), Castleton (Sept. 15), Fitchburg State (Sept. 28), Albertus Magnus (Oct. 5), Worcester State (Oct. 11), Westfield State (Oct. 19), SUNY Poly (Oct. 21), SUNY Cobleskill (Oct. 25) and will close the regular season at home against Bridgewater State (Oct. 29).
The Trailblazers will be on the road against Norwich and Wentworth (Sept. 10), Framingham State (Sept. 13), Bay Path and NVU-Lyndon (Sept. 17), New England College (Sept. 20), Mass Maritime (Sept. 24), Skidmore (Oct. 1), Sage, (Oct. 7) and Salem State (Oct. 15).
The MASCAC Tournament, featuring the top six teams in the standings, begins the first week of November.
