Albright Claims Third MASCAC Defensive Player of the Week Award
MCLA’s Ezmeralda Albright has been named as the MASCAC Defensive Player of the Week for the third time this season.
NORTH ADAMS, Mass.— For the second week in a row and third time this season, MCLA's Ezmeralda Albright (Loves Park, IL) has been chosen as the MASCAC Defensive Player of the Week. Albright is joined by Offensive Player of the Week Natalie Reynolds (Beverly, Mass.) and Rookie of the Week Sydney Cummins (Nicholasville, KY) as this week's award winners.
Albright registered 67 digs averaging 7.44 per set and 33.5 per match in a 1-1 week for the Trailblazers. The senior libero had 38 digs (7.60 per set) in a five-set win at Salem State and 29 digs (7.25 per set) in a four-set setback at Framingham State.
Albright and the Trailblazers next host Bridgewater State on Wednesday at 6pm in a pivotal MASCAC matchup.
