HIGHLIGHTS
- MCLA took all three sets by scores of 25-21, 26-24, and 27-25.
- The Trailblazers opened and closed the first set with runs of 4-0 and 5-2. The first run included a pair of kills by junior middle hitter Makenna Carter (Averill Park, NY). The closing run included a pair of service aces by senior outside hitter Elizabeth Brown (Lee, MA). Still, the set ended with a kill from first-year outside hitter Kaelynn Greeley (Corona, CA), assisted by sophomore setter Addison Decaro (Eagle River, AK). Brown then closed out the comeback with a kill to put the hosts up two sets.
- What would be the final set was also the most exciting of the afternoon, featuring nine ties and six lead changes.
