Greeley Claims Third MASCAC Rookie of the Week Honor
MCLA’s Kaelynn Greeley has been announced as the MASCAC Volleyball Rookie of the Week for the third time this season.
NORTH ADAMS, Mass.— For the third time this season Massachusetts College of Liberal Arts (MCLA) first year outside hitter Kaelynn Greeley (Corona, CA) has been named as the Massachusetts State Collegiate Athletics Conference (MASCAC) Volleyball Rookie of the Week. Joining Greeley as this week's other award winners are Framingham State's Natalie Reynolds who was chosen as the Offensive Player of the Week and Mass Maritime's Holly Sanders who claimed Defensive Player of the Week honors.
Greeley had 14 kills, nine digs and three service aces helping MCLA to a pair of nonconference home sweeps this week. She had seven kills, seven digs and three aces in the Trailblazers' win over New England College and seven kills with a .429 hitting percentage along with a pair of digs in a victory over visiting SUNY Delhi.
Greeley and the Trailblazers are back in action on Wednesday at 6pm when they host Anna Maria College in both teams' MASCAC season opener.
