Greeley Named MASCAC Rookie of the Week
MCLA’s Kaelynn Greeley has been named the MASCAC Volleyball Rookie of the Week.
NORTH ADAMS, Mass.-- The Massachusetts State Collegiate Athletic Conference (MASCAC) announced earlier today that Massachusetts College of Liberal Arts (MCLA) first-year outside hitter Kaelynn Greeley (Corona, CA) has been named the Rookie of the Week. This is Athlete's fifth Player of the Week honor this season.
Greeley had 34 kills (3.09 per set), 25 digs (2.27 per set), as well as five service aces, leading MCLA to a perfect 3-0 week. Had 13 kills, 15 digs, and a pair of aces in two nonconference wins over Elms College and Lesley University, and had 21 kills (5.25 kills per set) with a hitting percentage of .525, along with 10 digs (2.50 per set) in a four-set road win over Fitchburg State.
Greeley and the Trailblazers are back in action on Wednesday when they face off with the Framingham State Rams in a MASCAC clash of top teams at 6 p.m. in the Amsler Campus Center Gymnasium.
