Greeley Named MASCAC Rookie of the Week
MCLA’s Kaelynn Greeley has been named as the MASCAC Volleyball Rookie of the Week.
NORTH ADAMS, Mass.-- The Massachusetts State Collegiate Athletic Conference (MASCAC) announced earlier today that Massachusetts College of Liberal Arts (MCLA) first year outside hitter Kaelynn Greeley (Corona, CA) has been named the Rookie of the Week. This is athlete's sixth Player of the Week honor this season.
Greeley had 43 kills (3.58 per set) and 22 digs (1.83 per set) in three matches this week for MCLA. Had 18 kills, averaging 3.60 per set with a .333 hitting percentage along with 14 digs (2.80 per set) in a 3-2 setback to MASCAC rival Framingham State and had a combined 25 kills (3.57 per set) and 8 digs in a nonconference tri-match against Suffolk University and Nichols College.
Greeley and the Trailblazers are back in action on Wednesday when they face off with the Bridgewater State Bears in a MASCAC clash of top teams at 6 p.m. in the Tinsley Center.
