Trailblazers take Fourth at Plansky 6K

The MCLA Trailblazers ran down the street as the Ephs of Williams College hosted the Plansky Invitational on Saturday, an annual highlight for the team that attracts a large crowd of alumni back to Mount Greylock High School to run on the team's home course alongside current team members.

The meet, which featured a women's 6k, a men's 8k, and a coed 5k that showcases the majority of the alumni, attracted five teams: Coast Guard Academy, Keene State, MCLA, NEC, and host Williams. In the women's 6k, Coast Guard Academy captured the win with their top five runners placing within the top seven finishers. Williams took second, with five runners in the top 10.

MCLA took fourth place with Xhirley Gonzalez leading the way finishing twenty-fifth with a time of 27:34. Caitlin Culver, Haley Amenta, Kathryn Johnson and Emily Johnson rounded out the top five for MCLA.
