2013 MASCAC Women's Cross Country Poll
North Adams, MA- The MASCAC has released its preseason women's cross country poll this afternoon. The MCLA Trailblazers were picked to finish seventh with 17 points. Defending champion Westfield State is the favorite.
MCLA returns a host of runners, including its top duo of Danielle Sylvester and Claire Simmons. They will have a tall task of disposing nine time champion Westfield, who finished with 61 points. Bridgewater State was next with 54, while Worcester State was third with 51. Fitchburg, MMA, and Framingham were next with 41, 36, and 18 points respectively. Salem State was tied with MCLA with 17 points.
The Trailblazers get underway with a meet in Mid September.
