Women’s Cross-Country Competes at Blazer Invitational

CHICOPEE, Mass.— The Massachusetts College of Liberal Arts (MCLA) Women's Cross-Country team finishes 5^th in this morning's Blazer Invitational hosted by Elms College in the Chicopee Memorial Park.

Western New England took the top spot with a total time of 2:08:59 (22 points) finishing just under three minutes better than second place Emmanuel College (2:11:54, 39 points). MCLA's total time of 3:07:58 gave them a score of 161.

Western New England's Lia Pouliot (25:21.3) (25:30.1) took home the top individual spots.

Rozene Sabeti-Seidel (29^th) was MCLA's top finisher with a time of 8:43.1. Belle Wurmser, Kaitlyn O'Brien, Kiera Grom, Milena Monell, Katie Pica, Natalie Laroche and Sarah Chicoine all ran strong races for the Trailblazers.

MCLA next runs at the SUNY Poly Wildcat Classic Invitational on Saturday, September 27^th.
