Women’s Soccer Toppled at VTSU Johnson
MCLA dropped a 5-0 non-conference decision to VTSU-Johnson this afternoon.
JOHNSON, Vt. — The MCLA Women's Soccer Team played their second road game of the week, heading North to meet up with the Badgers of VTSU-Johnson at Minaert Field. VTSU's Moriah Stefanik and Olivia Davis each found the back of the net twice to lead the Badgers to a 5-0 win.

- Series History: VTSU-Johnson leads the all-time series 3-0, including a 2-1 win when the teams met last year on October 16th in Johnson. The Badgers took the first-ever meeting of the teams by a score of 4-3 on September 9, 2001.
HOW IT HAPPENED
- Johnson scored two goals in the first half, both credited to Olivia Davis, with the first unassisted and the second aided by Ida Eames.
- The Badgers added three more second half goals, the first two by Moriah Stefanik which were assisted by Peyton Fairchild and Eames, respectively. The final goal was credited to Elizabeth Love with an assist for Jenna Jones.
- MCLA's Catelyn Hodge (Schenectady, NY) recorded two of the Trailblazers' three shots on goal. The other was by Lauren Campbell (Bennington, VT).
- VTSU's Isabel Atkisson kept a clean sheet to pick up her first win of the year, moving to 1-2-1. The Trailblazers' keeper duo of Destiny Alexandra Rivas (Leicester, MA) and Mallory Amirian (Haverhill, MA) combined for five saves with Rivas absorbing the loss to fall to 1-3-1.
