Women’s Soccer Downed by Bridgewater State
MCLA dropped a 5-0 decision to Bridgwater State this afternoon in MASCAC action.
BRIDGEWATER, Mass. — The MCLA Women's Soccer team took to the road this afternoon for a MASCAC matchup with the Bridgewater State Bears at Mazzaferro Field. Five different Bears scored goals to help the defending MASCAC champ to extend their conference undefeated streak to 19 games.

- Series History: Bridgewater State leads the all-time series 30-8-4, including a 8-0 decision last season in North Adams on November 2nd. MCLA took the first-ever meeting of the teams on October 4, 1987, by a score of 2-1 in North Adams.
HOW IT HAPPENED
- Bridgewater State started the scoring in the 18th minute when Olivia Robarge (assisted by Natalie Mattos) before adding goals in the 32nd minute (Jenna Sweeney, unassisted), 33rd minute (Kacey Parker, Caroline McCormack & Erin Richards), 50th minute (McCormack, Robarge), and 63rd minute (Nina DiRusso, Juliana Matos).
- MCLA's Mallory Amirian (Haverhill, MA) finished the evening with seven saves on 12 shots on goal as the host Bears outshot MCLA 35-1.
- Catelyn Hodge (Schenectady, NY) provided the Trailblazers lone shot, in the ninth minute.
