Volleyball cruises 3-0 in season opening win over NVU-Johnson
Alyssa Keegan collected a team best 7 kills in MCLA's season opening win over NVU-Johnson this evening
Johnson, VT- Alyssa Keegan collected 7 kills while the MCLA Volleyball team amassed 15 aces as they cruised past Northern Vermont- Johnson 3-0 tonight in the season opener for both programs. MCLA is now 1-0 while the Badgers drop to 0-1.
MCLA took command early taking the first set 25-8 before earning a 25-20 second set win. They would close out the match with a 26-24 win in the third.
Keegan notched her 7 kills on 13 attacks. Raegan Scattergood added three kills for the Trailblazers. Celine Manigbas ended with 7 digs as did Sara LaFreniere.
MCLA was the beneficiary of 18 attack errors and 20 service errors from the Badgers.
The Trailblazers have a quick turnaround as they travel to Gordon tomorrow for a tri match with the Fighting Scots and Neumann.
