Volleyball Falls 3-1 to Pioneers in Non-Conference Tilt
MCLA dropped a back-and-forth non-conference meeting with Utica this evening.
NORTH ADAMS, Mass. — The MCLA Volleyball Team opened the home portion of their schedule this evening, welcoming the Utica University to the Amsler Campus Center Gymnasium for a non-conference matchup with the Pioneers. The final three set to one scoreboard doesn't do justice to a four-set match in which the teams combined for nearly 200 points.

- Score: Utica 3, MCLA 1
- Records: Utica University Pioneers 5-3 (Empire 8 0-0) | MCLA Trailblazers 5-3 (MASCAC 0-0)
- Series History: Utica now leads the all-time series 3-2. Utica took the last meeting of the teams, last season on September 7, 2024, by a score of 3-0 in Utica. The Pioneers also took the first-ever meeting of the teams by a score of 3-0 on September 29, 2001, in Utica.
