MCLA's Tremblay named MASCAC Player of the Week
Lucy Tremblay has been named the MASCAC Player of the week after averaging 26.5 ppg.
North Adams, MA- MCLA's Lucy Tremblay has been named the MASCAC Player of the Week as announced by the league offices Monday. Tremblay, who shared the honor with Fitchburg's Amy Fahey, averaged 26.5 ppg last week as the Trailblazers went 1-1.
Tremblay began the week by collecting 23 points in a convincing win over Becker College. The junior from East Greenbush, NY, shot 9-11 from the field in that contest. She would follow up that performance with a career high 30 points in a loss to Williams College. She shot an impressive 58% from the floor on the week.
Tremblay is currently second in the league in scoring at 22 ppg behind only Fahey. The Trailblazers currently sit at 2-1 and will next play in the Norwich Invitational this Saturday against Bates College.
