Buzzards Bay, MA- MCLA senior forward, Jen Wehner was named the MASCAC player of the week for the third time this season on Sunday afternoon.  The six foot forward has taken home the honor three out of the last five weeks.

Wehner began her week collecting a double double at Salem State on Tuesday.  She finished with 15 points and 15 rebounds along with 7 blocks in a loss.  She would respond with a 24 point, 7 rebound effort in a win over Worcester State on Saturday.

Wehner and the Trailblazers evened their record at 7-7 on the week, 1-1 in league play.  On the season, the forward currently leads MCLA in scoring and rebounding averaging 16.2 ppg and 11.3 rebounds per game. 

MCLA has a busy conference week ahead of them as they have a trio of league contests.  The Trailblazers play home games against Westfield (Tuesday) and Fitchburg (Saturday), while traveling to Framingham on Thursday.
