Wehner earns fifth MASCAC Player of the Week honor
MCLA forward Jen Wehner earned her fifth MASCAC Player of the Week award following a pair of strong performances

North Adams, MA- MCLA senior forward Jen Wehner has been named the MASCAC player of the week as announced by the league offices. It is the fifth time that she has collected the award this season. Wehner and the Trailblazers earned a pair of key victories to move up to second in the MASCAC standings.
Wehner averaged 25 points and 13.5 rebounds on the week while shooting an impressive 77% from the field. She began the week with a 21 point-13 rebound performance in a road win at Westfield. Wehner would follow that performance up with a season high 29 point, 14 rebound showing on senior day against Framingham State.
On the season, Wehner ranks second in the conference in scoring and rebounding, while leading in blocked shots and field goal percentage. She is already MCLA's all time leading scorer and rebounder.
MCLA will wrap up the regular season with a pair of road games this week as they look to continue their current winning streak. The Trailblazers will travel to Fitchburg on Tuesday before heading to Bridgewater State on Saturday.
