2010 Women's Soccer team earns NSCAA Academic Award
The 2010 MCLA Women's Soccer team was recently awarded the NSCAA Team Academic Award.
North Adams, MA- The 2010 MCLA Women's Soccer team was awarded the NSCAA Team Academic Award at the convention just held in January. In order for a team to be considered, it must have a composite team GPA of at 3.0.
The Trailblazers had a cumulative GPA of 3.18. A total of 792 soccer teams (220 men, 572 women) posted a team grade point average of 3.0 or higher, thereby earning the NSCAA Team Academic Award for the 2010-11 academic year.
MCLA Head Coach Deb Raber commented, "I am very proud of this entire group and all we accomplished during the 2010 season. We were very successful on the field and with this award the women showed the same level of dedication to their studies."
