Volleyball to face challenging road schedule in 2010
The MCLA Women's Volleyball team will face a challenging test in 2010, playing 17 of 23 opponents on the road. They will open with three road dates before opening at home on September 14th against Colby-Sawyer.
North Adams, MA- The MCLA Women's Volleyball team will face a challenging test in 2010 when they play 17 of 23 opponents on the road. They will open with three road dates, including a pair of Tri-Matches, before opening at home on September 14th against Colby-Sawyer. The season opener is a Tri-Match, set for September 4th at Eastern Nazarene.
Under the direction of Head Coach Amanda Beckwith, the Volleyball team will look to improve upon an 11-13 campaign in 2009. Following the home opener on the 14th, MCLA will then host a tri-match on the 18th, before opening league play at home on the 25th, traveling to Mass. Maritime Academy for a MASCAC Tri-Match with the hosts and Worcester State.
The MASCAC Tri-Match will begin a grueling stretch in which the Trailblazers will play 12 of 13 matches on the road. The only home date in that period is an October 11th home match with Bridgewater State.
Following the road trip, MCLA will wrap up the regular season with consecutive home dates on October 26th and 30th.
