Men's Basketball
The Men's basketball team went 1-1 this week with a road win at Westfield on Tuesday, while falling to Framingham on Senior Day this past Saturday.

After jumping out to an early 14 point lead, Framingham slowly crept back into the game to close the Trailblazers lead to four at the half. The Trailblazers lead early on in the second half, but Framingham kept the game close and eventually would take the lead and close out the game. The difference in the game was free-throws as MCLA shot 52% (14-27), while Framingham shot 82% (28-34). Greenberg lead all scorers with 23 points and 13 rebounds, while Mike Perreault added 15 points.
On Tuesday, the squad found themselves in a defensive battle with Westfield. The team pulled out a victory at Westfield 55-51. MCLA battled back from a four point deficit at the half to comeback and complete the sweep of Westfield State College. The Trailblazers placed three players in double-figures with Greenberg leading with 19 points and 17 rebounds, Chris Harris with 13 points, and E'lon Julien with ten points and ten rebounds.
The Men's team stands at 9-13 overall with two games remaining in conference play, remaining in the hunt for a postseason berth. A win or a Westfield loss will clinch a playoff berth.
Women's Basketball
The Women's basketball team went 1-1 this week, earning a key win against Framingham state on Saturday.
Freshman Lucy Tremblay and sophomore Jen Wehner lead the Trailblazers in the victory, both scoring 17 points and grabbing 12 rebounds. The win matched MCLA's single season program record for wins in a season set last year.
On Tuesday the Women's team came out strong and brought a nine point lead into the half, holding Westfield to only 18 points. It was not enough as the Trailblazers went cold in the second half, failing to record a point in the final 7:50 of play and took home a 58-42 loss. Wehner was the only player to record double digits with eleven.
The Women's team stands at 14-8 overall with two games remaining in conference play. The Women's team also remains in contention for a postseason berth.
