The MCLA Women's Soccer program hosted a successful alumni game on Saturday.
Two MCLA Women's Soccer players have been awarded as honorable mention Scholars on the NSCAA All East Region Team. Senior Jade Prickett and junior Jess Tietgens were named when the NSCAA announced the teams on Thursday.
Jess Tietgens was named to the 2009 NSCAA Women's NCAA Division III All-New England Regional Team.
MCLA junior forward Jess Tietgens was honored by the ECAC today as she was named to the All New England first Team. Tietgens set school records for points and goals, while her team established a new record for victories in a season.
Junior Jess Tietgens continued her torrid record scoring run as she added a pair of goals as MCLA battled Brandeis into a double overtime tie. The Judges, however, would advance as they would outscore the Trailblazers 3-1 on penalty kicks. MCLA completes their season with a school record of 15 wins.
The MCLA Women's Soccer team defeated Emmanual 3-0 this afternoon in an ECAC quarterfinal game played at Shewcraft Field. MCLA will now play the winner of Brandeis and Castleton State
The MCLA Women's soccer team was awarded the number four seed in the ECAC New England Tournament. The Trailblazers will host Emmanuel College on Wednesday at 1:30pm.
The MCLA Trailblazers fell to rival Westfield State in the finals of the MASCAC tournament 3-1 this evening in Westfield. MCLA drops to 14-5 and will await a possible postseason bid to be announced on Monday
MCLA will travel to Westfield Saturday at 5pm looking to clinch the MASCAC Championship. The game is a rematch from one week ago.

MCLA Women's head soccer coach Deb Raber was honored by the MASCAC today with the 2009 Coach of the Year award. It is the second such honor Raber has recieved, previously winning in 2007
MCLA Junior Jess Tietgens netted a hat trick in leading MCLA past Worcester State 3-2 this evening in a MASCAC semifinal game played in Worcester. MCLA moves on to the conference final where it will meet Westfield State Saturday on the road.

The MCLA Women's Soccer team will travel to Worcester State Wednesday night for a 7pm Kickoff in a MASCAC semifinal. The Trailblazers are the #3 seed in the four team playoff.
MCLA will honor their seniors before they play host to rival Westfield State college on Saturday. The final regular season game will determine the regular season MASCAC champion.
MCLA won their eighth straight game 2-0 over Sage this afternoon. With the win, the Trailblazers move to 13-3, tying the school record for wins in a season.
